This meticulously crafted journey seamlessly blends history, art, music, food, and wine to create a truly bespoke experience. Guests will begin their journey with two nights at Le Meridien Munich, including a special visit to the Dachau Concentration Camp during the 80^th Anniversary year of the camp’s liberation and a specially curated private symphony performance.  Then, sail for six nights aboard the newly launched and refined river ship, The Gentleman. Our boutique floating hotel will traverse the picturesque Rhine River from Nuremberg, visit the cities of Bavaria with their medieval landmarks, and sail onward to an area once known as Ashkenaz by the early Jewish settlers of the region.  A visit to ShUM, a medieval association of the Jewish communities in Speyer, Worms, and Mainz, commonly referred to as the “Jerusalem of the Rhine.” This region also inspired the most significant German poets, Goethe and Heine, as well as composers like Mozart, Liszt, Schumann, Beethoven, and Wagner. This will be illuminated through incredible private performances, specially arranged visits, talks, and panel conversations with me and other experts on the region.
