Sailing with Jewish Congregation of Venice

Dear Friends,

I am delighted to invite you on an extraordinary journey through the heart of Germany, where we will explore Jerusalem of the Rhine & The 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Dachau alongside esteemed spiritual leaders and scholars. This meaningful voyage will take us from Nuremberg along the storied Rhine River to ShUM—an ancient association of the Jewish communities in Speyer, Worms, and Mainz, often referred to as the “Jerusalem of the Rhine.”

This thoughtfully curated experience weaves together history, art, music, food, and wine, creating a truly bespoke journey of discovery and remembrance. One of the most profound moments will be our visit to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Dachau Concentration Camp, followed by a deeply moving private orchestral performance curated by our partners at the South Florida Symphony Orchestra and Maestra Sebrina Alfonso.

This exclusive journey explores the legacy of the Jews of Ashkenaz—their contributions to Jewish Halakhic jurisprudence, the beauty of Yiddish, the wisdom of Rashi, and their role in shaping Reform Judaism and the rebirth of Zionism. It also immerses us in the cultural influences that inspired the great German poets Goethe and Heine and the musical genius of Mozart, Liszt, Schumann, Beethoven, and Wagner. These artistic legacies will come to life through private performances, special visits, and enlightening discussions with scholars from across the region.

Our journey begins with two nights at the luxurious Le Meridien Munich, allowing us to explore this vibrant city before embarking on six nights aboard the elegant vessel, The Gentleman. Our floating sanctuary will carry us through Bavaria’s breathtaking landscapes, stopping in historic towns along the Rhine, before concluding our voyage in cosmopolitan Düsseldorf.

We are thrilled to collaborate with Transcend Cruises to offer a fully customized experience that balances luxury, enrichment, and exceptional value. Jerusalem of the Rhine & The 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Dachau starts at just $3,999 per person, providing an all-inclusive experience designed to nourish your mind, body, and soul.
