Dear Friends,
I am excited to announce a new phase in my 15 yearlong partnership with the South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO). From June 19 to 26, 2025, we will embark on The Great Composers and Cuisine Along the Rhine River program aboard a beautiful new river ship, The Gentleman.
Many of you who have traveled with me know of my attentiveness to every detail; if you are joining me for the first time know that you will be creating memories that last a lifetime.
Join me as we experience a superbly curated journey that is available by invitation only and designed exclusively for us. This experience blends history, art, architecture, incredible classical music, and unparalleled food and wine to create truly bespoke moments.
Exploring a region that inspired composers like Mozart, Liszt, Schumann, Beethoven, and Wagner. Aboard a handsome new river ship, The Gentleman, our exclusive floating hotel for the week, we will sail from the vibrant city of Amsterdam to the historic and charming Nuremberg in Bavaria. Our Guest Chef on board is the internationally acclaimed Chef Todd Erickson, renowned for his culinary excellence and innovative flavors, including a victory on Food Network Channel’s “Beat Bobby Flay.” Chef Todd Erickson is a global citizen, consulting for five-star resorts throughout Central America and the Caribbean. Are you ready to be captivated as Chef Todd brings his culinary prowess to The Gentleman? He will curate diverse themed dinners, conduct engaging hands-on culinary classes, and host thrilling interactive guest culinary competitions. There’s a delightful experience for everyone to enjoy! Explore and enjoy the region’s bounty with exquisitely prepared meals, shop the markets with Chef Todd and me, and immerse yourself in tasting local traditions and ingredients.
If your schedule allows you to linger a bit longer, I highly recommend arriving just 2-nights prior in Amsterdam with a Michelin Star dinner at RIJKS and a very special art historian-led tour at the Rijksmuseum. You may also choose to join us on a post-cruise extension to visit the beautiful city of Prague, with incredible architecture that truly rivals that of Paris.
From just $3,999 per person, we have included nearly everything in this experience, from open bar, all meals, shore excursions, and so much more. Join me for a voyage that will truly enrich your mind, body, and soul. Everyone who voyages with us will delight in knowing that a portion of their travel supports the SFSO’s world-class musicians, and the captivating live concert experiences they are known for. This contribution enriches SFSO’s community engagement programs and ensures that the Symphony in the Schools music education program continues to inspire the next generation of musicians and music lovers for years to come.
It would be an honor to have you join me, but please act soon as this adventure is expected to sell out quickly. We would like to encourage you to contact our preferred partners at Transcend Cruises for more information or to book your participation at 954-737-4709 or via email at sales@transcend.cruises.
Bon Voyage!

Dear South Florida Symphony Orchestra Friends,
Finding genuinely authentic travel experiences today has become increasingly difficult for true classical music enthusiasts. Therefore, we proudly co-sponsor the inaugural 2025 Symphony Sojourn as the SFSO’s preferred travel partner.
Aboard the exclusively chartered all-new river ship The Gentleman, we’ve pulled out all the stops to create an inaugural journey to remember! Every moment of this sailing will undoubtedly convince you to return year after year. The scenery will be unforgettable during the best time of year to sail the Rhine River, and the special moments we’ve planned are unparalleled.
From private performances and Michelin-star meals on our Amsterdam optional pre-cruise program to an outdoor performance on top deck as we sail the incredible Rhine River Gorge, every detail has been beautifully orchestrated exclusively for you. Please join us aboard what will be an annual Symphony Sojourn in style. I encourage you to book soon, as early interest in this program indicates we’ll sell out quickly.
