Amsterdam Optional Pre-Cruise Extension Program
(Wednesday, May 20 – Friday, May 22, 2026)
Start your adventure with a two-night stay at the iconic Conservatorium Hotel Amsterdam, the former Music Conservatory of Amsterdam turned luxury hotel. Explore amazing Amsterdam during our private canal cruise, discover incredible cuisine during our Michelin-star dinner at RIJKS, and enjoy the artistry of Dutch classical musicians during an exceptional evening performance. Learn about the art of the Dutch Masters during our art-historian-led tour of the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museums.
Day 1: Amsterdam
After clearing customs, you’ll be greeted by a Transcend Cruises representative and transferred to The Conservatorium Hotel.
Following lunch on your own, we’ll join a relaxing private cruise of Amsterdam’s canals. For a reason, Amsterdam is called the Venice of the North: canals crisscross the heart of the old city, and bridges link approximately 90 islands. The city’s fathers demolished most of the old town and built it new, creating Europe’s first planned city. That “new” district is now 400 years old, and as you glide along the main canals, you’ll pass stately merchants’ houses built centuries ago. A canal cruise also gives you a look at the busy modern city. Return to the hotel, relax, refresh and prepare to join us this evening at the hotel for a festive welcome reception hosted by Dr. Marlene East and Maestro Sergey Bogza.
Day 2
Following a lovely breakfast at The Conservatorium Hotel, we join a private small group tour of the Rijksmuseum, where an expert art historian guide will help you navigate the world’s most renowned collection of Dutch and Flemish art and artifacts. After your guided tour, you’ll have time for independent exploration of this incredible collection or a short walk to the Van Gough Museum, just a 5-minute walk away, to continue your artistic adventure.
This afternoon we will visit the incredible Anne Frank House(Anne Frankhuis) where Jewish diarist Anne Frank and her family hid during World War II. Overlooking a canal called Prinsengracht, it’s now a museum dedicated to preserving her legacy. Enjoy a special presentation and tour through the attic and see personal items belonging to Anne and her family, plus film clips and photographs.
This evening, join us for a private performance and introduction to Holland’s culinary great, Michelin-star Chef Joris Bijdendijk who has curated an incredible menu for you, and will join the group for a special toast.
Day 3: Amsterdam
Following breakfast, enjoy time at leisure for any individual pursuits before departing for our floating boutique hotel, the Transcend Connect. Once onboard, enjoy an included lunch and time to get settled-in before our festive welcome reception later this afternoon.

Prague has been a center of arts, commerce, and politics for a thousand years, and it offers a stunning array of medieval, baroque, and art nouveau architecture.
Afterwards, you can choose between re-boarding the motorcoach for a ride back to the hotel or continuing your guided walk through the picturesque Lesser Quarter to Charles Bridge.
