PROGRAM COST EXCLUSIONS

Passport fees, visas, and visa photos as required; personal expenses such as full-service laundry, telephone calls, and meals other than those specified; accident/sickness, trip cancellation, and baggage insurance; optional sightseeing excursions; baggage charges on aircraft; local and international departure air/airport tax(es); airfare, ground transfers, and associated local taxes, airport facility and security taxes and federal inspection fees not listed in the “Tour Cost Inclusions” section of this brochure; meals, alcoholic or other beverages, and all other services not explicitly mentioned in the “Tour Cost Inclusions” section.

PROGRAM SIZE

Bellejour can accommodate approximately 180 passengers, all in stateroom accommodations.

PROGRAM COST INCLUSIONS

Enrichment and entertainment programs; seven nights aboard Bellejour; welcome and farewell receptions; all meals on board the ship as well as complimentary beverages as outlined in the Inclusions section of this website; all activities as detailed in the itinerary; complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the cruise.

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT

When booking the cruise program, a $950 per person deposit is due. A $250 per person deposit is required for optional pre-cruise extension programs. Final payment is due 90 days prior to scheduled departure. Credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, and Discover) only will be accepted. All deposits are non-refundable.

CANCELLATIONS

Notification of cancellation must be received in writing via email (al@bearcruise.com) from the participant.
Cancellations made from booking up to and including 90 days prior to departure will incur a $950 per person cancellation fee for the cruise program and $250 per person for optional pre-cruise extension programs.
Cancellations received 89 days or fewer prior to departure will result in full forfeiture of all monies paid.

INSURANCE

We strongly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance to cover unexpected interruptions, cancellations, or lost baggage. The exclusion of pre-existing medical conditions is often waived if insurance is purchased within 14 days of the initial deposit.

BearCruise.com and Transcend Cruises, including their representatives, employees, and agents, assume no responsibility for costs or losses incurred due to cancellation, curtailment, emergency evacuation, medical expenses, repatriation, or loss or damage to personal property. They also accept no liability for airline cancellation penalties related to non-refundable airfare.

AIR ARRANGEMENTS

Airfare is not included in the program cost. Transcend Cruises and BearCruise.com do not accept liability for airline penalties incurred by the purchase of non-refundable tickets. Issued airline tickets constitute a contract solely between the passenger and the airline.

WHAT TO EXPECT / PHYSICAL HEALTH

All participants must be generally healthy and physically independent. Any condition requiring assistance or special medical attention must be disclosed at the time of reservation. Participants must be able to embark and disembark the ship and motor coaches independently or with minimal assistance from a traveling companion, climb stairs, and step over raised thresholds. Travelers requiring assistance must travel with a companion responsible for handling equipment.

Participants with heart or lung conditions should consult their physician prior to departure. Medical issues, dietary restrictions, and mobility impairments must be disclosed well in advance. For questions regarding activity level, please email al@bearcruise.com.

PREPARING FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Comprehensive pre-departure travel information, including packing suggestions, will be provided prior to departure.

CHANGES IN ITINERARY, PROGRAM, STAFFING & COSTS

Transcend Cruises reserves the right to change itineraries, program dates, staff, accommodations, or vessels as conditions warrant. Prices are based on prevailing fuel prices and currency exchange rates as of May 2025 and are subject to change.

RESPONSIBILITY

Transcend Cruises and BearCruise.com act solely as agents for passengers in arranging travel services. Participation involves inherent risks, which participants voluntarily assume. Transcend Cruises and BearCruise.com are not liable for injury, loss, delay, or damage arising from acts of God, force majeure, government actions, labor disputes, mechanical failures, health emergencies, or other events beyond their control.

Transcend Cruises reserves the right to substitute vessels, hotels, or attractions of a similar category if necessary and to cancel a trip for any reason, in which case its sole obligation is to refund monies paid directly to it.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

All personally identifiable information is kept confidential and shared only with tour staff, participants, and destination service providers as required. Participants may opt out of having their email addresses included on the participant list upon request.

APPEARING IN PHOTOS

Photos taken during the program may be used in promotional materials by Transcend Cruises or BearCruise.com. No compensation is provided for such use.
